DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PICS! – the King Studio was nothing like the description!
We were expecting (AS PER DESCRIPTION) a soundproof room with a double bed, a sofa bed, a nice plant, sheer curtains, a kitchenette with all the necessary amenities (kettle, coffee machine, kitchenware, stovetop, cleaning products), a flat-screen TV, and microwave. Instead, here’s what we got:
-A double bed and a single bed pushed together with zero space around them and a sofa bed
-The bathroom door won't close
-No plant. No curtains
-Faulty external roller shutter in the bathroom
-Kitchenette built out of metal unistruts and a bent shelf, looking more like a construction project than a functional space
-A stovetop crammed under a counter on a tiny IKEA table. You literally have to kneel to use it
-No kettle or coffee machine
-A filthy microwave with mold and no plate inside
-Only one teaspoon
-No cleaning products, aside from a tiny bit of hand wash
-A TV no larger than 21 inches, with a smashed screen, and a replacement TV (barely 17 inches) just sitting on a toolbox on the small table
-Light switches didn’t work, and the only light we had in the room was a cheap standing lamp
-No soundproofing – we could hear vehicles passing by, and even the neighbors’ showers and toilets flushing
-The "free on-site parking" doesn’t exist. Instead, it’s a residential area nearby, and good luck finding a spot in the evening

To top it all off, Alessandro, the person I had to deal with (who is apparently not the owner), was rude and completely unhelpful. Moreover, he commented on booking.com that I have made confusion with another reservation - No I did not!
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately, the barca studio was a disappointment, we believe it was some kind of tourist scam, we made the reservation and payment, we arrived at the place and the very rude receptionist told us There was no internet, and we work with the internet. So he told us to leave the studio that he didn't like us, we asked him to return the amount we paid up front €200 and he said that would be refunded, unfortunately we left there and spent money on other accommodations and taxis and he did not refund us at the present time. We have tried all ways to resolve the issue so far, but the host He doesn't answer us, he completely ignores us and claims that we wanted to leave the studio, but we have all the conversations with him saved and can therefore prove that he is acting in bad faith. I do not recommend this place to any tourist under any circumstances, it is a disappointment.
