As soon as we arrived for the Murder Mystery Lunch, we knew that we were in for a real treat. The drinks reception at Victoria Station, with a fantastic singer, set the tone brilliantly. The welcome from Adam Hill, Nicola Brooke and their team was so warm, and we were made to feel like VIPs before we were even in our seats.
Sarah, Pippa and Hakim looked after us fantastically in the stunning ‘Ibis’ carriage; they were so attentive, thoughtful and made us feel special throughout the day. They went above and beyond to make it a trip to remember. My travelling companion is Deaf and we were so happy to be in Sarah’s capable hands; she is trained in deaf awareness and so she ensured that her speech was loud enough and clear and that her lips could be read, she also greeted us in BSL which was a lovely touch.
The food was delicious. Meals for those with dietary requirements (vegan) were equally elegant and tasty.
I love a murder mystery and came armed with my notebook, ready to detect clues! The murder mystery itself is so cleverly constructed that whether you’re a budding Poirot or simply curious you are able to engage with the experience and really enjoy the day. The acting is incredible, and they tell the story so skilfully. The experience is fantastic fun to be a part of.
The golden thread which ran through every aspect of our day was impeccable service. Adam led an exceptional guest experience throughout our trip. He somehow managed to anticipate what we might need before we even realised it ourselves and made us feel highly valued. He clearly genuinely loves talking to guests and takes pride in the incredible guest experience on the British Pullman. Nicola was wonderfully thoughtful and immediately made us feel relaxed and welcome. Across the day, when they passed through the carriage Adam and Nicola always checked in with us - another example of how outstanding hospitality is at centre of everything they do.

I want to share with you a truly unforgettable experience that has made a dream from my bucket list come true. From the moment I stepped aboard, I was welcomed with exceptional service and the best hospitality I have ever received. The amazing views, the emotional experiences, and the feeling of traveling back in time made this journey truly extraordinary.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to some special individuals who made this journey even more memorable. Adam Hill, thank you for providing the best on board seating and ensuring my comfort throughout the trip. Nicola, your gentle nature was a breath of fresh air and made me feel truly cared for. Thomas and Arthur, your attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and engaging personalities as stewards made me feel like a valued guest.

I cannot forget to mention the entertainment staff who shared their talent and lit up the afternoon with joy. Your performances were truly captivating and added an extra layer of magic to this experience.

To everyone who played a part in making this journey possible, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has been a dream come true, and I will cherish the memories of this exceptional voyage forever. Thank you for making it an experience I will never forget.

Fabulous special birthday celebration aboard the Pullman from Victoria with close family last week.
From arrival reception, onboarding to our amazing private ‘Audrey Carriage’ we were transported back in time to a far more glamorous era. Delicious lunch was impeccably served by Sarah and William, exceptional wines topped it off. The acting troupe entertained us throughout and expertly guided us through the murder mystery. Thank you so much 🙏

We had the most wonderful trip in the Audrey carriage a few weeks ago. The service was excellent, the food was divine and the drinks were perfect. We really felt lucky to be spending our anniversary on the train and we have since recommended to friends and family who we know have also had a fantastic experience! Can't wait to board the train again!

I was recently surprised by my husband with a glorious day on board a Belmond Train to Chichester as part of a birthday celebration.
We were seated in the Audrey carriage - reputedly the first Art Deco carriage in the train. Patrick and Fatima took exceptional care of us. Attention to detail was sublime. From the bone China table service, the gleaming marquetry, the spotless upholstery not to mention the staff turned out in their beautiful uniforms. And the food and drinks were freshly made and delicious.
The weather luckily behaved and we had an unforgettable journey to historic Chichester followed by a wine tour of a local vineyard.
We finally rolled back into Victoria station sated, relaxed and feeling thoroughly spoilt.
A wonderful day and a heartfelt thankyou to Patrick and Fatima for taking such good care of us!

Absolutely brilliant! Would recommend to anyone who wants that extra special experience. From arrival at the station, we would tell this would be a super day! The staff were amazing, the actors just fabulous and the food was out of this world. A 1st class experience all round.

If you want to be treated like you was a lord or lady this is the trip for you. The staff are exceptional and think of your every need. Nothing is too much for them. It may be a bit pricey and may be something you’ll only do once in your life but worth every penny. The food is top notch fine dining and the drink keeps flowing as part of the package. You won’t forget the wonderful experience
